Sussex, Surry, and Greensville County; and Emporia City, Virginia Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Sussex County Housing Office (SCHO) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted for one day only on June 5, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Applicants that live, work, or have been hired to work in either Sussex, Surry, Greenville, or Emporia will be placed on the waiting list ahead of applicants that do not live or work in either county or city.

It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
