Senior and Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

The Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) Elderly/Disabled Public Housing waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from September 4, 2018, until September 28, 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

The Elderly/Disabled Public Housing program offers efficiency and 1-Bedroom units.

There were four ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the application at the ARHA office.
2. Pick up an application at the ARHA office
3. Call to request an application by mail.
4. Send an email to request an application by mail.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must have been mailed to the ARHA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences: The Elderly, Persons with Disabilities, Persons Who Live or Work Locally, and Working/Employed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
