Hidalgo County, Texas Section 8 HCV

The Housing Authority of the County of Hidalgo (HACH) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 10, 2023, until August 31, 2023

There are two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Pick up an application from the HACH office, located at 1800 N. Texas Blvd. Weslaco, TX. 8:00 am until 11:30 am CT. Monday-Friday

2. Print the paper application

Once the application has been completed, it must be submitted in person to the HACH address above, Monday-Thursday, from 8:30 am until 11:30 am

Please note: According to HCHA, "Applications will not be accepted by fax or mail."

Preferences have not yet been confirmed

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received
