Eligibility
The Central Texas Council of Governments (CTCOG) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open.
The CTCOG is accepting Section 8 HCV applications for this waiting list from January 31, 2022 at 8:00 am CT, until further notice.
To apply during the opening period, complete the online application here.
This waiting list has the following preferences:
- Victim of Domestic Violence within the last 90 days
- Displaced due to a governmental action
- Live/work in the following counties: Milam, Bell, Coryell, Lampasas, San Saba, Mills or Hamilton County
- Live in an area that is a federally declared disaster area
- Applying for the mainstream voucher (Must be all 3: 18-61 years old, homeless, & verifiable disability)
- Homeless or experiencing homelessness
- Disabled, or have a verifiable disability that can be confirmed by a knowledgeable professional
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, in order of preferences.
