Greenville County, South Carolina Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Greenville Housing Authority (GHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The GHA last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher applications for this waiting list from November 18, 2021, until November 19, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limit for each household size were available on the GHA website. 

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Residency Preference - At the time of application, the head of household and spouse or co-head live, work, or have been notified that they are hired to work in one of the counties listed in the waiting list for which they are applying for. 
• Homeless Preference - The Homeless Preference will go into effect once the current 2017 wait list has been exhausted.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
