Public Housing Waiting List

This housing authority offers 119 units ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms, located throughout Lincoln County.

There are three ways to apply for public housing:

1. Follow this link to download the application, then print and complete.

2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 541-265-5326, during normal office hours.

3. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 1039 NW Nye St., Newport, OR 97365, during normal office hours.

Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to 1039 NW Nye St., Newport, OR 97365. Be sure to include these copies with your application: photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income for the last 3 months, award letter from social security if applicable, and recent bank statements, and social security cards.

This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, veteran, enrolled in a job training program.
