The Town of Yorktown Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open.
The Town of Yorktown Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is accepting applications for this waiting list from April 28, 2022 at 12:01 am, until April 29, 2022 at 11:59 pm ET.

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:
- 1 Person $44,650 | 5 Persons $68,850
- 2 Persons $51,000 | 6 Persons $73,950
- 3 Persons $57,400 | 7 Persons $79,050
- 4 Persons $63,750 | 8 Persons $84,150
There are no preferences.
500 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

This waiting list is for rental assistance in Bedford, Buchanan, Cortlandt, Croton–on-Hudson, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Ossining, Peekskill, Somers, and Yorktown, New York; and parts of Carmel, Lake Peekskill, Mahopac, and Putnam Valley, New York, which lie in close proximity of the Westchester County and Putnam County line.

Reasonable Accommodation
Applicants who need help completing the application due to disability can make a reasonable accommodation request to the housing authority via writing a letter to the Section 8 office, located at 363 Underhill Avenue Yorktown Heights, New York 10598, post marked no later than April 18th, 2022.
