Eligibility
The Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Yonkers (MHACY) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior households.
Please note: The family Public Housing waiting list is currently closed.
This waiting list only offers studios and one bedroom units.
The MHACY offers 20 apartment communities with 2,079 units, that are located throughout Yonkers. You can view a full listing of all communities here.
To apply, complete the online pre-application here.
If an applicant needs reasonable accommodation to complete the pre-application, call the MHACY Admission Office at (914) 793-8497 to have a pre-application mailed to you.
Once the paper pre-application has been completed, it must be mailed to PO Box 35, Yonkers, NY 10710.
