The City of Poughkeepsie Section 8 HCV Office will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 13, 2023 at 9:30 am, until October 4, 2023 at 11:30 am ET

To apply while the waiting list is open, pick up an application from the Section 8 Housing Office, located at 1 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 301, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Applications are available for pick up from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30 am until 11:30 am only

Once the application has been completed, it must be postmarked by October 4, 2023, and mailed to The City of Poughkeepsie Section 8 HVC Office,1 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 301, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

• 1 Person $41,650 | 5 Persons $64,300 
• 2 Persons $47,600 | 6 Persons $69,050
• 3 Persons $53,550 | 7 Persons $73,800
• 4 Persons $59,500 | 8 Persons $78,550

This waiting list has the following preferences: preference will be given to Dutchess County residents

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list
