Gloucester County, New Jersey Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Gloucester County (HAGC) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from February 21, 2024 at 12:01 am, until February 24, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Download and print the application online

2. Complete the online application

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be:

1. Postmarked between February 21, 2024 and mailed to The Housing Authority of the Borough of Glassboro, c/o The Housing Authority of Gloucester County, 100 Pop Moylan Blvd., Deptford, New Jersey 08096

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Veterans
• Applicants who are living, working, or have been hired to work, within the operating jurisdiction of HAGC
  • HAGC jurisdiction: Clayton, Deptford Township, East Greenwich, Elk Township, Franklin Township, Glassboro, Greenwich Township, Harrison Township, Logan Township, Mantua Township, Monroe Township, National Park, Paulsboro, Swedesboro, Washington Township, West Deptford Township, Westville, Woodbury, Woodbury Heights, and Woolwich Township
• Applicants who satisfy the criteria for the Mainstream Voucher Program
  • Applicants must be a disabled, non-elderly persons ages 18 to 61, who are transitioning out of institutional or other segregated settings, at serious risk of institutionalization, homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless

• Applicants who satisfy the criteria for the Lease in Place preference
  • Applicants must be a household renting in a non-relative owned, HQS compliant unit, located in a participating community who will lease in place into the program

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences
