This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
The Housing Authority of Gloucester County (HAGC) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from February 21, 2024, until February 24, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.
There were two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:
- Download and print the application online.
- Complete the online application.
Once the paper application was completed, it was to be:
- Postmarked between February 21, 2024 and mailed to The Housing Authority of the Borough of Glassboro.

This waiting list had the following preferences:
- Veterans
- Applicants who are living, working, or have been hired to work, within the operating jurisdiction of HAGC.
- HAGC jurisdiction: Clayton, Deptford Township, East Greenwich, Elk Township, Franklin Township, Glassboro, Greenwich Township, Harrison Township, Logan Township, Mantua Township, Monroe Township, National Park, Paulsboro, Swedesboro, Washington Township, West Deptford Township, Westville, Woodbury, Woodbury Heights, and Woolwich Township
- Applicants who satisfy the criteria for the Mainstream Voucher Program.
- Applicants must be a disabled, non-elderly persons ages 18 to 61, who are transitioning out of institutional or other segregated settings, at serious risk of institutionalization, homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.
- Applicants who satisfy the criteria for the Lease in Place preference.
- Applicants must be a household renting in a non-relative owned, HQS compliant unit, located in a participating community who will lease in place into the program.
It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
