Public Housing Waiting List

The St Louis Park Housing Authority (SPHA) Public Housing waiting list for 5-Bedroom apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from September 15, 2020, until September 17 or 25, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the SPHA website, "The 5 bedroom public housing waiting list will open September 15 at 8:00 a.m through September 25 at 4 p.m." However, the SPHA Facebook page states that the applications will be accepted until September 17, 2020, which is different from the website. Affordable Housing Online has not yet confirmed the correct closing date.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 person $54,950 | 6 people $91,100                                                       
• 2 people $62,800 | 7 people $97,350
• 3 people $70,650 | 8 people $103,650
• 4 people $78,500 | 9 people $109,900
• 5 people $84,800 | 10 people $116,200

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Local Preference: Live, work, hired to work, or attend K-12 school in St. Louis Park, MN
• Veteran, widow or widower of veteran

50 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
