Eligibility
The Housing Authority of the City of Sulpher (HACS) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HACS offers one Public Housing community with 202 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the HACS to submit a pre-application in person, located at 312 Brook St, Sulphur, LA 70663, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, and from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
Be sure to bring these documents when applying: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for everyone in the household, photo IDs for all adult household members, and if receiving Social Security, bring the award letter. All adults must be present when applying.
The HACS does have a preference for: Working families, elderly, or disabled individuals.
