Jefferson Parish, Louisiana Limited Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Jefferson Parish (HAJP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open on a limited basis. Applications are being accepted since at least April, 2021, until further notice. 

Please note: According to the HAJP, This waiting list is for households "residing within the public housing development on Acre Road."

To apply during the opening period, in person applications will be accepted at the public housing development on Acre Rd by appointment only. Affected public housing residents can call the HAJP Housing Choice Voucher Program at (504) 321-4257.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Preference is for any family receiving public housing assistance from the Housing Authority of Jefferson Parish (HAJP) and residing within the public housing development on Acre Road.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
