The Bloomington Housing Authority (BHA) Public Housing waiting list for 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments is closed

The BHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from June 30, 2020, until October 15, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete an online application

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live in Monroe County, Indiana
• Live in the surrounding counties of Owen, Greene, Lawrence, Brown or Morgan
• Current member of the U.S. Military Armed Forces, a veteran of the U.S. Military Armed Forces or a surviving spouse of a veteran
• Household include a disabled individual
• Work 35 hours or more per week or the head and spouse, or sole member, are elderly (62 years of age or older) or disabled
• Work 20-34 hours per week
• Resident of Monroe or a surrounding county whose primary nighttime dwelling is one of the following: a supervised public or private shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations (includes welfare hotels, congregate shelters and transitional housing) or a public or private place not designed for, or ordinarily used as, a regular sleeping place for human beings

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list
