Iowa, Johnson, and Washington County, Iowa Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Iowa City Housing Authority (ICHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least October, 2018, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application here.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly, Disabled, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Families with Children, Displaced by Government Action, Displaced by Natural Disaster.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
