Pinellas County, Florida Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon.

The PCHA will accept applications for this waiting list from August 30, 2022 at 9:00 am, until September 1, 2022 at 5:00 pm ET.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Head of Households (HOH) who are Elderly or Disabled, Veterans, and Pinellas County residents.

3,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

This waiting list is for Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance in Pinellas County, Florida (with the exception of the incorporated City of Clearwater, Florida).

Applicants who need help completing the application due to disability can make a reasonable accommodation request to the housing authority via calling (727) 443-7684 ext. 3001 to request a paper application by mail beginning 9:00 a.m. EDT, Monday, August 15, 2022, through 5:00 p.m. EDT Friday, August 19, 2022. Pre-applications returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Thursday, September 1, 2022.
