Eligibility
The Torrington Housing Authority (THA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled households.
The THA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.
The THA offers five communities for senior and disabled households.
There are two ways to apply:
- Request an application be mailed to you by calling the THA office at (860) 482-3581 during normal office hours.
- Visit the THA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 110 Prospect St., Torrington, CT 06790, during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
The following documentation is required to be submitted with the pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
The THA does not identify any preferences.
Qualified applicants are placed on the waiting list by date and time the pre-application is received.
