Area Ministries for Emergency Needs - AMEN provides financial assistance with rent and utilities electric, water, and propane for families facing disconnect or eviction in emergency situations only. Provides a food pantry and grocery store vouchers, which may be used to purchase fresh food only. May provide clothing vouchers to be used at Second Chance Emporium in La Grange. May provide furniture vouchers for victims of household fires to be used at Second Chance Emporium. A.M.E.N. is a volunteer group of local churches and is supported by sales from the Second Chance Emporium, and from individual donations. Eligibility: Fayette County residents in need, furniture vouchers limited to victims of house fires Hours of Operation: Monday 9:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday 6:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday 1:00pm-3:00pm
