CATHOLIC CHARITIES - ARLINGTON offers Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program HPRP that provides Short-term rental assistance 1-3 months Medium-term assistance 4-18 months Rental deposits Rental arrears including late fees Utility deposits Utility assistance Case management Credit counseling for someone in imminent risk of being homeless. Must be in imminent risk of being homeless, must be at or below 50% of Area Medium Income varies for each county, must have had a significant loss of income within the last 6 months that was unforeseen, unavoidable and no fault of their own, must engage in case management with the Financial Assistance program as well as attend financial education or credit counseling. Eligible households must live in zip code served by office, must be within 150% of federal poverty level, and must have had a financial crisis within the last 90 days defined as a loss of income that was unforeseen, unavoidable and a situation in which pre-planning was not possible Applicants must return required documentation by mail or in person prior to formal intake Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call 817-534-0814 for information.
