Emmons County Housing Authority

The Emmons County Housing Authority owns 15 - 2 and 3 bedroom units in Linton. The units are bi-level with the living areas on the top floor and the sleeping rooms on the bottom level. The units in the past year have completely new flooring, all new appliances, new windows and garage door openers installed. To be eligible a family's income cannot exceed 80% of the median income for Linton County. Rent is equal to 30% of income and includes all utilities. The Emmons County Housing Authority also has 4 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers which allows eligible families to select housing of their choice and the Housing Authority pays the difference between 30% of families income and contract rent directly to the landlord.
