About This Building
The City Of Miami Department of Community Development offers a variety of programs to provide rental assistance to those in need. The major housing programs currently managed by this division include programs funded by the State Housing Initiatives Program (SHIP), the Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), which offer loans and/or grants to prospective homebuyers, homeowners or developers for the purchase, rehabilitation or construction of new affordable housing units. Certain eligibility requirements and restrictions apply. There may be waiting lists for some of these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of or length of wait on the lists.
