Public Housing Waiting List

The San Marcos Housing Authority (SMHA) Public Housing waiting list for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom apartments is currently open.

The SMHA is accepting applications for this waiting list as of June, 2017, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the paper application available here. Select the application link in the "Applying for Housing" section.
2. Call the SMHA at (512) 353-5059 to request an application my mail.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Applicants who live or work in Hays County. 

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
