Eligibility
The Newburgh Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
This housing authority offers two apartment communities for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply for public housing:
1. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 845-561-2066.
2. Stop by the housing authority office to pick up an application, located at 40 Walsh Rd., Newburgh, NY, during the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: living and/or working in Newburgh, homeless, or a victim of domestic violence.
