Volunteers of America creates and manages housing for the homeless, families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, including physical and mental disabilities.

They offer many support services and activities to their housing residents, such as after school programs for children, transportation to medical appointments for the elderly and training for those with developmental disabilities.
