Urban Homesteading Assistance Board

The United Homesteading Assistance Board, or UHAB, works to transform low-income renters into secure, confident homeowners who "collectively own and democratically govern true housing cooperatives." Programs include housing development projects, preservation projects, technical assistance, and weatherization.
