University Settlement

University Settlement offers a variety of programs and services to serve immigrants in the New York area. One such program is Project Home, a comprehensive case management program which serves the formerly homeless and at-risk residents of the Lower East Side and Chinatown maintain their permanent housing, personal and financial stability, and family safety. Services include eviction prevention, employment guidance, individual and community advocacy, and assistance with issues such as domestic violence, government benefits, abuse and hunger. All services are provided without charge in the many languages of our multi-ethnic neighborhood. In addition, participants are fully engaged in the Project's extensive advocacy efforts on behalf of low-income residents throughout the community and New York City.
