Saratoga County Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program.
Twelve one-bedroom units are located in Burnt Hills and eight one-bedroom units are located in Rexford.
VCHC administers for New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal (HCR) Housing Choice Voucher Program for Saratoga County.
Enable eligible house rent or purchase decent, safe, and sanitary housing available in the private market.Eligibility:
Based on the total annual gross income and family size, limited to US citizens and specified categories of non-citizens who have eligible immigration status.
Limits are subject to change.
Individuals must meet both income criteria and must be 55 years old or older and/or disabled.VCHC is the Public Housing Authority for the Town of Wilton Section 8 Program. Applicants need not be in the Town of Wilton when they apply, however they must meet the one year resident requirement to move to the Town of Wilton if a voucher is issued.
