Agency provides a variety ofservices for low income individuals, families and older adults. It alsoowns a number housing developments and community facilities located indifferent communities throughout the county.

SECTION 8 HOUSING: Provides rentsubsidies through a federal program to enable families, elderly ordisabled persons to locate decent housing at affordable prices. Eligiblehouseholds must locate housing on their own.

RENTAL ALLOWANCE PROGRAM: Provides amonthly rental allowance for up to 6 months to homeless or low-incomehouseholds with critical housing needs.
