About This Building
United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP) was founded in 1964 and was designated as the Official Community Action Agency (CAA) of Prince George's County in 1978.
UCAP, a non-profit organization 501(c)(3), is the primary advocate for communities facing gaps in education, affordable housing, economic stability and adequate access to health care.
UCAP is committed to providing a wide range of services to individuals and families whose quality of life has been adversely affected by poverty, unemployment, homelessness, crime and inadequate public health services.
Thanks to rigid UCAP programs, county residents (including individuals and families) are able to achieve stability and become self-sufficient members of a larger community.
Contact UCAP for more information about affordable housing in the area. Call (301) 322-5700 for the latest details.
