Attleboro Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for rentals or vouchers and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of and length of wait on the lists. At the Attleboro Housing Authority, we have 52 two-bedroom units and 39 three-bedroom units on our family site, Hillcrest Oaks. There are also 2 one-bedroom and 13 two-bedroom units offsite at our Martin Street facility and 6 three-bedroom units located in three separate duplexes within the city limits. The Attleboro Housing Authority also has a total of 319 one-bedroom elderly and handicap units located at four separate developments.

Verification of your assets
Birth Certificates for all members in your household
Social Security Cards for all members in your household
Disability verification (if applicable) -- letter from physician stating the nature and duration of your disability
Discharge papers for Veteran Status (if applicable)
