The HousingResourceCenter (HRC) is a non-profit organizationbased inAtlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1994, HRC develops, ownsandmanages affordable housing in the Southeast. Weoffer technical assistance to other non-profitorganizations andpublic agencies to further their missions to providedecent,safe and affordable housing for very-low and low-incomeindividuals, the elderly and persons with disabilities.
We currentlymanageover 200 affordable units in the southeast throughcontractualarrangements. These units are governed by HUDs Section202 and Section 811 program requirements. Staff at HRChave received formal training in HUD Occupancy and havetakenmany SAHMA and IREM sessions on budgeting, marketing,compliance, and fair housing issues.
