Tampa Housing Authority

Tampa Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility requirements are set by HUD. The Housing Authoritycurrently manages 3,026 public housing rentals and 4,418 Voucher. There may be a waiting list for vouchers or rentals and at times the lists may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and the size of the lists.
