Vivian Villas is named in honor of Vivian Hoffman, served on the first established Board of Commissioners of the Hialeah Housing Authority. Mrs. Hoffman was the spouse of Dr. Charles Hoffman, who was appointed as the first Chairman of the Board on February 14, 1967 and served three consecutive four year terms. The construction of Vivian Villas was completed in November of 1971.
