Hialeah Housing Authority

Hialeah Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and the size and length of wait of the list. 

At the time of this listings last update , July 2011, the waiting lists for Public Housing Rentals and HCV - Section 8 were closed to new applicants.

The Housing Authority also manages545 Affordable Housing rentals and 402 Conventional Housing rentals.
