Manatee County Housing Authority

Manatee County Housing Authority provides low income residents with housing assistance through the management of Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for rentals or vouchers and at times these lists may close to new applicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and the size and length of wait of the list. If you are in need of assistance please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of assistance, the status of any waiting lists and their application procedures. Their office is available to assist you Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30pm , the physical office is closed to the public on Wednesdays from 2:00pm - 5:30pm.
