San Diego Housing Commission

San Diego Housing Commission provides low income residents with housing assistance through themanagement of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing ChoiceVoucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and eligibilityrequirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for these programsvouchers or rentals and at times the lists may close to new applicants as theneed for housing assistance becomes greater than the funds for rental assistanceor the availability of housing.
