Rents are based on income.
This affordable housing program is for individuals and families with moderate incomes allowing below market rents for those who qualify. The program is not a subsidized housing program as each resident is responsible for their full amount of rent each month. Rental amounts are based on the pre-set income limits in the geographic area and not based on your individual household income. To be income eligible, your total household 'gross' income must be less than the pre-set income limit for the area.
Eligibility and maximum income restrictions apply. Rental Assistance may be available. Inquire with the manager as to income limits, current rental rates and information regarding the subsidy programs at this property.
The Willows Apartments, constructed in 1992, contains 20 rental housing units for families (3 2-bedroom units, 9 3-bedroom units, 8 4-bedroom units). This includes 1 3-bedroom managers unit. The site has 70 parking spaces, including one in each units garage. The 1.57-acre site contains four two-story apartment buildings, along with a one-story community center building that features a community room, restrooms and a laundry room. The property was acquired by Eden Housing in 2015, as part of a partnership between Eden and South County Housing, Inc., the original developer. They are now managed by Eden Housing Management, Inc. The proposed acquisition-rehabilitation project will bring necessary repairs to the property and will preserve its long-term affordability in a high-cost area.
