Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara

The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara provides low income residents with housing assistance through themanagement of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing ChoiceVoucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and eligibilityrequirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for these programsvouchers or rentals and at times the lists may close to new applicants as theneed for housing assistance becomes greater than the funds for rental assistanceor the availability of housing. If you are in need of housing assistance in thearea please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more informationabout program eligibility, availability of assistance or rentals, the status ofany waiting lists and their application procedures.

Their office is available  Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 11:30am and 12:15pm - 4:30pm to assist you.
