The maximum allowable income and current rent varies at each of the participating complexes. Although no minimum incomes are listed, if your income is too low, you may not be eligible to rent a particular unit. Most apartments require that your monthly income be two to three times the amount of the monthly rent.To get your name on the waiting list for Tamarack Pointe Villas Brea, you must complete and return an application to the City of Brea. (If you would prefer to have an application mailed to you, call 714-671-3622.)  Applications are accepted on a continuous bsis, but the programs are not first-come, first-served.  New applicants are placed on a waiting list which is prioritized based on a point system.  An applicant's place on the waiting list is dependent upon accumulated points, which are awarded in various categories such as:  Brea residency, Brea employment, military service, disability, etc.

Additionally, we are unable to estimate how long you will be waiting for a unit, as it depends upon where you are on the waiting list when an opening becomes available.
