South Tucson Housing Authority offers housing assistance to low income residents in the area through the management of Low Rent Apartments and The Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. The Housing Authority strives to provide safe and affordable housing options to those in need that qualify. Eligibility requirements for these programs are set by HUD. Currently the Housing Authority has 132 HCV - Section 8 Vouchers in the area and operates 172 low rent apartments.
